CHIROPRACTIC

Chiropractic care originated in 1895 when Daniel David Palmer performed the first spinal adjustment in Davenport, Iowa. Palmer believed that misalignments in the spine, which he called "subluxations," could interfere with the body’s natural ability to heal itself by disrupting the nervous system. He founded the Palmer School of Chiropractic in 1897, laying the foundation for the profession.

Chiropractic care offers a wide range of benefits that go beyond simply relieving back and neck pain. One of the primary advantages is improved spinal alignment, which helps reduce pressure on the nervous system and allows the body to function at its best. This can lead to better posture, enhanced mobility, and relief from conditions such as headaches, sciatica, and joint pain. Many patients also experience improved flexibility and range of motion, making it easier to perform daily activities without discomfort.

Another major benefit of chiropractic care is its focus on natural, drug-free healing. By addressing the root cause of issues rather than just masking symptoms, chiropractic adjustments can support long-term health and wellness. Regular care can also help prevent future injuries, boost immune system function, and improve overall energy levels. Whether used for pain relief or as part of a proactive wellness plan, chiropractic care helps the body heal and maintain balance from the inside out.
